Terms and Conditions - CANADA
Travel Information:
Please review all the information immediately and confirm that the travel arrangements, including travel dates, times, cities, hotel(s) and passenger(s) names are all correct. Please note that the spelling of all passenger(s) names MUST be the same as they appear on your travel document (Passport, Official Government ID, Proof of Citizenship etc.). If the spelling of passenger(s) names is not exactly the same as what is on your travel document, you may not be permitted to travel through border and customs security points. Pure Magic Vacations and your Travel Consultant will not be responsible for any omissions or errors that are not brought to our attention immediately.
Should you require any dietary needs or other special requirements for your trip, please inform your Travel Consultant immediately.
Travel Requirements:
For travel exclusively within Canada, Canadian government photo ID is required at airport check-in for each passenger. (Although only government photo ID is required, we highly recommend that you carry your passport at all times when travelling).
For travel outside of Canada, a valid Passport is required for entry into other countries. Please refer to the Government of Canada Travel Information website at https://travel.gc.ca/travelling/advisories for more detailed information on country specific entry requirements. While your Travel Consultant may provide you with information on entry requirements for your travel, it is the traveller’s responsibility to ensure they have the appropriate travel documentation. For many countries, passports must be valid for six months after scheduled return date; please check your travel documents and local requirements to ensure compliance. Please note that entry to another country may be refused even if the required information and travel documents are complete.
Health and Medical Requirements:
For Travel outside of Canada, please refer to the Government of Canada Travel Health and Medical information page at https://travel.gc.ca/travelling/health-safety. In addition, please visit the government site for your destination(s) to ensure you understand the health requirements you must meet for travel to specific countries. It is the traveller’s responsibility to ensure they have met the appropriate medical and health requirements for entry to another country.
Travel Insurance:
Trip Cancellation and Out-of-Province Medical/Health Insurance is highly recommended and is available for purchase elsewhere. It is your responsibility to ensure that you (and travel party members who you are responsible for) have adequate insurance coverage. Trip Cancellation and Out-of-Province Medical/Health Insurance is available to be purchased through your preferred insurance provider or by contacting Manulife at 1-888-220-5212. If you choose to use Manulife, please provide them with the Agency Code: PUREGEO and Agent ID (please obtain from your specific Pure Magic Vacations Agent). For the best coverage, please contact Manulife within 72 hours of making your initial deposit in order to have access to the best possible coverage.
Air Ticket Terms and Conditions:
Air tickets are non-refundable unless otherwise noted by the airline. Tickets are valid only on flights and dates shown on your ticket. If applicable, changes must be requested prior to your original departure date and time. Changes may result in a higher fare and may also be subject to a change fee/penalty which is determined by the airline. Routing changes are not permitted. Unused tickets may not be used for future travel credit. Failure to travel on any portion of your itinerary will result in cancellation of all remaining flights.
Airport Improvement Fees:
Where applicable, airport improvement fees may be collected at respective airports.
Airport Check-In:
For domestic flights (exclusively within Canada) please check-in at the airport at least 2 hours prior to your flight departure time. For international flights (outside of Canada) please check-in at the airport at least 3 hours prior to your flight departure time.
Check-In counters close 1 hour prior to the departure time of your flight. Late arrivals may be denied boarding without compensation.
Terms and Conditions:
Pure Magic Vacations acts solely as the agent for the supplier(s) whose service(s) are being booked for you. Please familiarize yourself and your travel companions with the supplier(s) terms and conditions of sale. We will provide you with supplier documentation when it is available to us and are available to explain to you the portions that are related to the services offered, prices, and terms and conditions.
The supplier(s) are independent parties over which we have no direct control. We cannot be responsible for their acts, omissions or errors, nor do we assume responsibility for any claims, losses, damages, costs, expenses, delays, or loss of enjoyment to you or your travelling party or group. Unless stated in writing on your tickets, invoice or itinerary, we do not guarantee any of the supplier(s) rates, bookings or reservations. We are not responsible for any injuries, damages or losses caused to you in conjunction with terrorist activities, social or labour unrest, mechanical or construction difficulties/failures, diseases, local laws, climatic conditions, abnormal conditions or development, or any other actions, omissions or conditions outside of our control.
There may be different living standards and practices at the destination, and different standards and conditions there with respect to the provision of utilities, services and accommodations found in Canada. Information on “relevant Laws and custom documentation” is contained in the supplier brochure, on their website or through the Government of Canada Travel Information page at https://travel.gc.ca/travelling/advisories.
Pure Magic Vacations is not responsible for fluctuations in fares and rates offered to and accepted by the client, nor the subsequent changes in fares or services that may arise from suppliers. If the total price of the travel services is increased and the cumulative increase (except any increases resulting from a traveller’s change request or an increase in sales tax or federal goods and services tax) is more than 7 percent, the customer has the right to cancel the contract and obtain a full refund.
